What is GraphQL?
Query language where the client picks exactly which fields it gets back.
A query language and runtime for APIs created at Meta. The client sends one query describing the data shape it needs; the server resolves it through a typed schema. Solves over-fetching and under-fetching compared to multiple fixed REST endpoints.
{ user(id: 42) { name posts { title } } } returns only names and post titles.
